The Giant
Rikard, autistic and severely deformed, lives at a home for disabled and is haunted by the loss of his mother, from whom he was separated at birth. In order to handle the hardships of life, Rikard escapes to an imaginary world where he is a 50 meter tall giant.
Rikard is obsessed with petanque and believes that if he becomes great at the game, his mother will take him back. The most important tournament to date is coming up, which raises the stakes in the quest to win his mother back.
